Cordelia Bell Cook Genealogy

200 Cordelia Bell Cook, dau. of John LaFayette, b. March 22, 1871, in Wayne County. She m. March 6, 1900, John B. Davis, b. July 27, 1872. For a period of time they farmed on Hardin's Creek but in 1907 they moved to Walters, Oklahoma, where he engaged in the real estate business. After a few years they returned to Tennessee and settled in Lawrenceburg. He d. March 6, 1947. She d. January 24, 1961. They are buried in Minosa cemetery.

249. Mabel Anne Davis, b. May 21, 1911.

250. John B. Davis, Jr., b. October 3, 1913, in Tennessee. He m. August 12, 1938, Ella Ruth Alexander, b. March 8, 1913. They live in Odessa, Texas, where he is engaged in business. They have no children.

251. Gladys Irene Davis, b. March 25, 1917, in Tennessee. She m. in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 17, 1946, T. C. Guthrie, b. December 15, 1900. They live in Los Angeles, California, where she is a beautician and he is in the hotel business. They have no children.
