Hugh Jones Genealogy

Hugh³ Jones (Hugh² Hugh¹) of Dracut. He was born in Woburn, Massachusetts, July 7, 1727. Went to Dracut in 1733. Lived there at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. His name appears on Roll of Capt. Stephen Russell's Company on the Lexington alarm. He married, August 10, 1751, Sarah Fletcher.

1. Sarah, born October 13, 1753, died August 25, 1811 Married Lieut. Peter Haseltine of Dracut, died April 1, 1823. They had ten children.
2. Zeruiah, born December 23, 1755, died February 12, 1816. Married November 29, 1777, Dr. Jonathan Fox, born February 1, 1754, died October 26, 1782, of Dracut. They had three children.
3. Lydia, born June 23, 1757. Married March 18, 1750, Jonathan, born March 22, 1756, son of Jonathan and Sarah (Butler) Morgan of Pelham. New Hampshire.
4. Oliver, born May 6, 1752. died October 4, 1816. Married May 19, 1753. Dolly Clements of Dracut, burn August 16, 1762, died October 7, 1843.
