Wells Andrews (Chester⁶, Asa⁵, Nehemiah⁴, Samuel³, Thomas², William¹), born at Hartford, Ohio, April 10, 1810. Died at New London, Iowa, July 13, 1902. Married June 30, 1840, to Laura Brockway; who was born Nov. 20, 1819, at Hartford, O., and who died at New London, Iowa, May 5, 1854. Married second June 21, 1860, Mrs. Helen (Holcomb) Beach, who was born Sept. 16, 1825, at Granby, Hartford Co. Conn. She died Feb. 12, 1905, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Children:

1. Asa Edwin Andrews, born Aug. 2, 1841, at New London, Iowa. Married April 24, 1867, to Mary E. Walker, who was born at Cadiz, Ohio, May 7, 1842, and died Nov. 19, 1911, at Mt. Pleasant Iowa. Asa Edwin died Jan. 12, 1918, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He was a Civil War veteran, who was severely wounded in the war, which impaired his health for the balance of his life. No children.

2. Nelson Brockway Andrews, born at New London, Iowa, Dec. 7, 1843. Died June 2, 1915, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Married April 14, 1874, to Margaret Van Vost at Washington, D. C., who was born May 17, 1843, at Trenton, Iowa, and died May 12, 1915, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. No children.

3. Albert Drayton Andrews, born at New London, Iowa, July 5, 1846. Died June 16, 1924, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Married April 2, 1874, to Eidie Bordan at New London, Iowa, who was born April 30, 1855, at Bradford, Vt., and died Jan. 14, 1926, at Peoria, Ill. Buried at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Children:

   1. 447 Wells Borden Andrews, born at New London, Iowa, March 7, 1890. Married June 30, 1915, to Vere Mayme Dean at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, who was born Dec. 6, 1894, at Des Moines, Iowa. No children.

4. Almira Fidelia Andrews, born March 27, 1850. Died Aug. 24, 1851, at New London, Iowa.

5. Emma Laura Andrews, born Sept 12, 1853, at New London, Iowa. Died Dec. 25, 1928, at Tecumseh, Mich. Buried New London, Iowa. Married May 5, 1875, at New London, Iowa, to George H. Lee. Married second to Otis Floyd and third to T. N. Negus. She died in Michigan. Children:

   1. Victor A. Lee, born Oct. 26, 1875, at New London, Iowa. Married June, 1898, to Miss Mahie.

   2. Leonore Estelle Lee, born June 16, 1878, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Married June 16, 1898, to Rev. Charles M. Pace at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, who was born Sept. 27, 1877, at Kansauqua, Iowa. Children:

      1. Merna Pace, born Sept. 30, 1905, at Lone Tree, Iowa. Married in New York Sept. 30, 1934, to George Blackman O'Neil. They were divorced 1935-36. She married second Oct. 1, 1936, to Joseph Tarbell. Children:

         1. Susan Tarbell, born Jan. 1, 1938.

      2. Charles Robert Pace, born Sept. 27, 1912, at St. Paul, Minn. Married Dec. 18, 1937, to Rosella Gardner.

   3. Mary Aileene Lee, born Dec. 3, 1879. Married July 31, 1907, to John Atkinson Davis at Long Beach Cal., who was born Nov. 10, 1880.

   4. Fred Mead Lee, born Oct. 6, 1886. Married June 1, 1908, at Waterloo, Iowa, to Estelle Foggy, who was born Nov. 25, 1889. Fred M. Lee died Aug. 21, 1919, at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Children:

      1. Grover Andrews Lee, born July 11, 1909, at Escondide, Cal.
