Petrus Bayard Genealogy

Petrus Bayard (died 1690) son of Samuel Bayard to Ann Stuyvesant; married Nov. 4, 1674, Blandina Kierstede, who died in New York in 1702. She was daughter of Surgeon or Doctor Hans KierstEde, of Magdeburg, who married, June 29, 1642, Sarah Roelofs, a daughter of Jans Roelofs by his marriage to the celebrated heiress, Anneka Jans.

Petrus Bayard and Blandina Kierstede had:

•  Samuel Bayard, born 1675, New Amsterdam; moved in 1698 to Bohemia Manor, Cecil County, Maryland; married first, Susannah Bouchelle, born 1677; married second, Elizabeth Sluyter. He died Nov. 21, 1721.

• Petrus Bayard, owner of land in Ulster County, New York, married and had: Capt. Richard Bayard; married, about Oct. 5, 1696, Rachel Van Bolen.

• Sarah Bayard.
